The platform · AI-native

Leadership is the only high-stakes profession without a simulator. We built one.

Leaderwired Institute is an AI-native development engine: unscripted practice, mastery-based evaluation, AI coaching and reinforcement, running as one system, in 17 languages, for every leader today and for every employee whose skills the AI era is rewriting.

Software, not a service. The engine runs whenever your people do.

A field of glowing simulator domes, each with a person practicing inside
Why a simulator

Hours in the box. Mandatory recurrence.

Pilots have sims. Surgeons have cadavers and sim labs. Athletes have reps against live opposition. Leaders get a two-day offsite and a laminated card. Aviation didn't improve safety through better curriculum. It improved through hours in the box and mandatory recurrence.

A simulator has to do four things a course cannot: put a person inside a realistic situation that reacts to them, measure what they actually do under pressure, adapt the next rep to where they are, and bring them back before the skill fades. Everything on this page is how we built those four things in software.

1,502

AI practice scenarios, each one owned by the AI in real time: the other party pushes back, softens, escalates, and reacts to what the learner says.

708

testable competencies, each scored behaviorally inside the scenario, never by a multiple-choice check.

The engine, as a system

Four components. One loop, run by AI.

Every learner runs the same loop, evaluate, develop, coach, reinforce, and advances only on what they can demonstrate. Then the loop runs again at the next level.

01

Evaluate: conversational AI assessment

A baseline evaluation conducted in dialogue, not a survey. It maps how a person actually operates, produces a customized development plan, and sets the mark that re-evaluation is measured against. Competency Demonstration Scores are earned by actions taken inside scenarios: no partial credit, no inflation, no curve. Mastered is 75 or better; below that a skill reads Solid or Developing, with the line between them set by the scenario's difficulty level.

02

Develop: the AI tutor

A short teaching, a worked example, then a graded role-play. The tutor is 100% unscripted: it plays the other party authentically, adapts the difficulty turn by turn to hold the learner in the zone where knowledge becomes embodied skill, and debriefs what they did well, where to sharpen, and the rep to run next. Below Mastered, guided practice and another attempt. Earned, never forced.

03

Coach: AI Coach Anna

A voice-first AI coach built on and calibrated against the methodology of an ICF Master Certified Coach. Memory across every session, permission-based challenge, real accountability, and a design that refuses sycophancy: correctness precedes agreement. Available the moment a learner has thirty minutes.

04

Reinforce: Active Retrieval Reinforcement

Recall prompts and capstone scenarios on a calibrated cadence, running ahead of the forgetting curve, so capability compounds instead of fading after the program ends. Re-evaluation closes the loop and shows exactly what changed.

Practice that reacts. Scores that mean something. Support that steps back as capability grows.

Simulator specifications

What is inside the box.

Unscripted scenarios

1,502 AI practice scenarios anchored to the learner's actual work. The AI owns the world and reacts to the learner in the moment. Safe to fail. Impossible to fake.

Adaptive difficulty

Difficulty and support are calibrated turn by turn. As capability grows the scaffolding comes away, so knowledge becomes skill instead of dependence.

Behavioral scoring

708 testable competencies scored on what the learner does inside the scenario, under pressure. Every score writes to a ledger, per learner and per objective, auditable by your own evaluators.

17 languages, never translated

Truly native, unscripted interactions in every language you operate in. One rollout covers the whole organization, not just headquarters.

Voice or text

Speak naturally and the tutor speaks back; a text mode is one tap away for a quiet office. Any device, no instructors to book, no calendar to wait on.

A catalog built to grow

Seven programs and 57 courses on the Leadership Ladder, from first-time manager to the executive suite, plus nine that stand on their own: sixteen programs and 124 courses in all, every one of them open today. Every program runs on the same engine.

Built for scale

Every leader, every level, every language. Measured.

The barrier to one-on-one development was never pedagogy. It was the cost of tutors. Software removes that barrier: the tutor scales to every person at once, at the same standard, and the ledger reports what each of them can now do.

Enterprise deployments run as cohorts on a shared timeline. A pilot starts with one cohort of 25 leaders, the Conversational Leadership Evaluation as a baseline and a re-evaluation at ninety days.

  • Deployment to every manager, at every level of the organization
  • Leadership pathways on the Leadership Ladder, with mastery gates between rungs
  • Cohorts with a shared timeline and a ninety-day re-evaluation
  • Competency Demonstration Scores and a reporting ledger for HR and the leadership team
  • Runs whenever your people do: no instructors to book, no travel, no seats to fill

Leadership first. Not leadership only.

We started with leaders because leaders multiply everything they learn. The engine is not limited to leadership: any body of knowledge that matters can be delivered this way, practiced, evaluated, mastered. That is the moonshot: make mastery as accessible as knowledge, for a billion people.

Questions about the platform

Inside the simulator

What does 100% unscripted mean in the Leaderwired Institute simulator?
The AI tutor does not follow a branching script. It owns the scenario, plays the other party authentically, and reacts to whatever the learner actually says, in the learner's own language. Two people never get the same rep, and every rep is anchored to the leader's real work.
How does the AI tutor adapt the difficulty?
Turn by turn. Support and challenge are calibrated to keep the learner in the zone where knowledge becomes embodied skill: enough pressure to require the real behavior, enough support to make it reachable. As capability grows the scaffolding comes away, so the skill becomes the learner's instead of a dependence on the tool.
What are Competency Demonstration Scores?
Scores earned by actions taken inside a scenario, under pressure, on 708 testable competencies. No partial credit, no inflation, no curve. Each skill is reported as Mastered (75 or better), Solid or Developing, every score writes to a ledger per learner and per objective, and below Mastered the learner runs guided practice and re-evaluates.
Which languages does Leaderwired Institute support?
Seventeen languages, never translated. Every scenario is a native, unscripted interaction in the learner's language, so a global organization can develop everyone on one methodology without a headquarters-only rollout.
What happens after a course ends?
Active Retrieval Reinforcement takes over: recall prompts and capstone scenarios on a calibrated cadence that runs ahead of the forgetting curve, plus AI Coach Anna between sessions. Re-evaluation then shows exactly what changed, which is how capability compounds instead of fading.
Is the engine limited to leadership skills?
No. Leadership came first because leaders multiply everything they learn, and the catalog today is 16 leadership programs and 124 courses, all of them open. The engine itself is domain-agnostic: any body of knowledge that has to be practiced, not just known, can be delivered the same way, practiced, evaluated and mastered.
